About Us
Our Organization
RCEA is the largest division within the National Rehabilitation Association (NRA).
Bringing together counselor educators and counselors in practice allows a unique opportunities to provide research resources to those who wish to stay current on issues relevant for contemporary practice. RCEA provides a place for counselors and educators to come together, collaborate, and network. We welcome rehabilitation counselors from all practice settings, and seek to provide our members with training, continuing education opportunities, and more. |
Rehabilitation Counselors are the only professionals trained at a graduate level to serve people with disabilities. Rehabilitation counselors work in a variety of settings in order to assist individuals with disabilities in accessing work and independence. We believe work and independence is possible for all people, regardless of ability level. Rehabilitation counselors and educators also participate in a number of advocacy endeavors in pursuit of this belief; via policy, grassroots, research, and communication.
